No, I'm not referring to how I feel after a long ride on a bumpy road (sorry, just had to get that in....).
I just wanted to tell you all about a great invention I just found out about. They are nuts that replace stock nuts (in my case, the acorns on the front of the fender rails) that have your basic hex shape, but then instead of just being round (like an acorn) they drop directly to a small diameter and then have the normal size "acorn type" head at the outside. This creates a little channel to which you can secure bungees or saddle bag tie downs etc.... These things are great! Only problem is that they are standard versus metric (no problem really, just pick up standard bolts to match threads). They eliminate the need to hook under the fender and or rails! I found mine at Easyriders, but the HD shops also carry them (probably at the HD "penalty price".....). anyway, just thought I'd tell evryone....
